Nonprofit and Community Organization Federal Funding Survey

Nonprofits and community organizations faced unprecedented change and stress during the Covid-19 pandemic. The City saw an influx of federal funding through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) in 2021, with $308 millions awarded to Denver to aid with our city's recovery. The city received the first half in 2021, and we will receive the second and final $154 million this summer. Denver is deploying these federal funds to support communities disproportionally impacted by the pandemic, and community partners are crucial to serving residents and ensuring the funds best support our city.

We've launched a survey to better understand how we can support our nonprofit and community partners to apply for, deploy, and report on federal funds. Denver set aside funding to assist nonprofits and community organizations with the ARPA process, and this survey will help develop clear, actionable steps to support community partners.
